COVID-19 Updates

COVID-19 Dashboard

COVID-19 quarantine reduced from 14-10 days

San Bernardino and Riverside Counties, with guidance from Governor Newsom have reduced the length of quarantine from 14 days to 10 days.

Quarantine is the process that exposed people without symptoms should follow to reduce disease spread. The risk of developing COVID-19 following day 10 of quarantine is greatly reduced; however, it is still possible to develop symptoms after day 10. As such, caution should be exercised during this time period. It is highly recommended for all individuals who have had a close contact COVID-19 exposure and who are subject to quarantine to continue to wear masks, maintain at least six feet distance and follow all other typical COVID-19 precautions through day 14 to prevent unknowingly exposing others. New exposure algorithms for San Bernardino County and Riverside County are available on the One Portal Coronavirus page

Guidance on how to quarantine is available on the CDC COVID-19 webpage

NEW Return-to-Work Clearance Self-Assessment Tool (San Bernardino County ONLY)

Employees working in San Bernardino County who require a Return-to-Work clearance, due to symptoms or a positive COVID-19 test may be able to use the newly created COVID-19 Return-to-Work online self-assessment tool.

This new tool provides COVID-19 exposed or positive employees who feel safe to return to work with the guidance necessary for either obtaining an electronic clearance or seeking a healthcare provider’s advice. If cleared, the tool will generate a message that you can show to your supervisor and HR (just like you would do with a healthcare provider’s note). Please note, in certain cases, some employees will still need a health care provider’s advice to safely return to work.

The self-assessment does not require identifying information unless you want to email a copy of the clearance. Assessment responses are not being reviewed regularly; it is a self-service process.

Fit-testing schedule for Dec. 27 thru Jan. 4

Fit-testing continues for 1860 N-95 masks through the first week in January. Wearers of the 1860 Small N-95 masks do not need to be re-fit tested.
