Prayers for Loma Linda University Health
Healthcare and spiritual care teams from the Medical Center and Children’s Hospital came together last week to pray for our hospitals atop the helipad, lifting up employees and patients in prayer during this time.
Changes to Testing Criteria
- We have expanded COVID-19 testing for employees/providers with symptoms to include all those who work in patient care areas.
- Several other updates were made as well to incorporate testing of those who live in group settings and guardians accompanying minors for procedures.
- Check out the latest information on testing criteria on One Portal.
Updated Return-to-Work Criteria
Employees who work in patient care areas and who have developed symptoms of COVID-19 will no longer be able to return to work on the basis of resolution of symptoms alone. All employees hoping to return must be tested and have two consecutive negative tests greater than 24 hours apart (in addition to meeting symptom resolution requirements) to gain clearance to return to work.
We also incorporated guidance for antibody/serology testing in asymptomatic employees.
