All Covid-19 specimens must be bagged

All Covid-19 specimens must be double-bagged in a biohazard bag before being sent to the lab. There should be no loose swabs submitted or transported.

Command Center Phone Number

Please remember that the Command Center phone number is for internal hospital and university operational issues. The Command Center is unable to answer questions when patients call directly and inquire about testing locations or their COVID-19 test results. Patients with questions about clinical care or testing should direct their inquiries to their healthcare provider.

Social Distancing and Face Coverings

In accordance with County orders, employees entering hospitals are reminded to maintain adequate social distancing of six feet or greater when entering facilities. Additionally, face coverings or home-made masks should be worn between the parking lot and the employee entrance when coming and going from work. More information on face coverings can be found on the CDC website.

N-95 Masks and Makeup

Employees are reminded that if you work in a clinical assignment that requires an N-95 mask, please do not wear makeup. Makeup soils the masks and renders them unable to be properly cleaned and disinfected for future reuse should that be required.
